David Schuster makes Tweety look like an amateur
I watched Hardball on Fri. and watched Schuster sit in for tweety, and it was amazing how he wouldn't let people get away with BS and lies, MSNBC should replace Tweety with David Schuster and call it Brassballs instead of Hardball, (With apologizes to the PC police)

10. Schuster vs. Tweety
Schuster: "Do you really think that Scooter Libby is like a fallen soldier?"

Tweety:"Tell me, does your wearing a beard make people think you might be a terrorist? Answer the question! Come on! Answer it, damn it! SHIT!"

11. Great idea...even the name. Shuster interviewed like journalists used to.
I would love to see politicans face real "journalists" on all of shows, every time.

Shuster deserves his own show.

12. Matthews should hang it up - his act is tiresome - one day a liberal - one
day one of "them." Yawn....

14. You got that right! Schulster compares with Bill Moyers LIKE Tweety meshes with Geraldo Rivera
Edited on Sat Jul-07-07 11:19 AM by ShortnFiery
The first two, David Schuster and Bill Moyers, are journalists who seemingly CHERISH the presentation of objective observation, with thoughtful, well reasoned commentary. Whereas, both Tweety and Geraldo Revera are journalistic shock jocks who both strive for the goals of sound bytes and convoluted political divisiveness.

At one time (probably only when he worked for The Honorable Tip O'Neil) Tweety may have been an honest journalist, but NO MAS. Tweety is invited to all the within the beltway political power socials. Therefore, IMO, he serves the political elite and relishes in his role of spewing disinformation in order to keep us lowly chattering classes confused.

Yeah, IMO, Tweety is smarmy, screeching, dirty ole coot in addition to being a misogynistic bird brain!
But someday I'll tell you how I really feel about him.

15. I think that the Geico gekko can make Matthews looks
like an amateur.

Several months ago David Gregory filled in for him and I happened to watch and it was a pleasure to see him letting his guests finish their sentences instead of just shouting them down.

17. Shuster worked at Fox, there may hope for others
check out his MSNBC bio.He worked on the Fox 2000 political team. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3080466/, just shows

Yesterday's smack down was a thing of beauty and a joy to behold. He's one of the few journalists we have on tv today. From his past remarks on Countdown and a couple of articles about his experience at Fox he didn't like the taste of the kool aid all that much.

19. One of the things I love about David is that he knows the material
and he is willing to call out the RWers when they lie. I am continually amazed by how ill informed the punditocracy appears to be.
