I just had an Edwards supporter stop by the house...

and the poor kid was probably wishing he'd never asked if I had been following the campaign. My first words were....

"We have GOT to get them out of there as soon as possible." He immediately agreed and went into the Edwards spiel for bringing our troops home.

"No, I mean the two terrorists in the White House! We need to end their reign before the end of the term. It is crucial."

I also sent a message back to Edwards.

"The candidate that can forget the niceties and start banging his or her fist on the podium is the candidate that will get my support on caucus night (Iowa). I don't want to see any more nambie pambies representing me, because it is critical that we clean this government up asap. We sent those kids overseas to fight for our country and we haven't been very good custodians of it while they were gone. Just look at what we've allowed it to become. I want a president and vice president that can turn this country around so they have an America with united states to come back to, not a divided country like we are today. I want them to see the United States of America standing proud, as it was so many years ago."

No, this young man was in total agreement and we had a good conversation. It just surprised him that someone was spending so much time reading up on what all was going on. Besides, I had just read about the poor medical treatment some of the guys were getting in the field and was livid about that.

NO CANDIDATE other than Kucinich (who will NEVER EVER EVER WIN DO YOU HEAR ME) will do that, and even HE won't call for impeachment of Bush, NO, only Cheney. Even that NUT, GRAVEL, won't call for it. So I GUESS YOU ARENT VOTING IN 2008!!!
