Simple note to Wes Clark: Run, Wes, Run |
|
It's simple--you have been speaking out eloquently and organizing fundraising efforts to stop Iran war, supporting Dem. candidates, and more. But the only way to actually implement new/different/progressive policies is to have the power to do so. Look at what power in the hands of the evil dictator has cost us the past 6 1/2 years. Look at what some of that power used for the good of all Americans (and the world) cound do. Run, Wes, Run.

2. There is a lot of that here. |

Gore would be my second choice. Wes Clark inspires and connects with ordinary people like no one I've seen since Bobby Kennedy. I would hope that, if Gore runs and were nominated, he'd let it all hang out. He doomed his own campaign in 2000 by running away from the Clinton record, and his own failure to connect with people. He still has some of that. For all his brilliance, he still has a hard time speaking clearly and simply.

4. My first hundred aren't running. |

With the exception of Kucinich, whom I think has a great grasp on the issues, but (imo) can't win, this pack of candidates is shameful.

5. Congratulations on at least being aware that Kucinich cannot win. |

That small item seems to allude many here who back him, or they do not care. But ultimately, winning is the whole point of any election.

7. Haven't heard that, but makes sense if one is inspired by his/her candidate. |
