Me: Dean is quiting Wednesday, but not going away. |

Edited on Sun Feb-15-04 10:28 AM by Bleachers7
This is just my opinion. I just caught him on Fox News local channel Sunday. He was being asked about going on. He said that he is going on one way or another past Tuesday. He said he was going to Florida, NY and other places. But he also said that he was going home on Wed. to reevaluate and there is no set schedule after that. I have a feeling that he is going to travel the country blasting Bush and talking about the democrats. It would be great if he kept doing that. There could be something like the Howard Dean organization.
BTW, The faux reporter treated him like crap. Do you feel like an idiot for this? Do you feel like a jackass for that. It was disgusting.

1. I saw exactly 30 seconds of that interview |
|
I had been looking on Faux"News" (duh), but he looked so subdued. Was he that subdued throughout the interview, or was it just as it was wrapping up?

2. your subject line implies fact not opinion |
|
Did you ever write for a right wing paper? Your subject line is typical of what the right would run. From your other posts I know you support Kerry and this is a not so subtle undercut at Dean.

I think Dean is a smart guy and realizes that he will be better off staying in the race, even if it's apparent that he won't win. It's simple, really, if he drops out but keeps going around the country the media will turn him into a spotlight hog, the way they try to portray Bill Clinton. Dean would be better served running a campaign of attrition than to drop out and lose credibility as a candidate.

10. I believe he used the word attrition to describe his plans. |
|
I think he said a "long hard campaign of attrition".

I especially like his answer to the "Do you feel like Kerry stole your message?" question.

he said there is no way he stops before the florida primary because, of all people, they have a right to participate in a meaningful choice.

8. If you make a highly questionable and inflammatory factual assertion about a candidate, you must provide a link to a reputable source to back up your claim. Rumor-mongering is not allowed. Allegedly "innocent" questions which are actually an underhanded effort to spread rumors are not allowed. If you really need to know the answer to your question, try Google.
