...because his NY guy died on him this week too. The boy is bad luck I tells ya.
And I'd have to say that in all my years, I have never seen such a sorry crop of candidates by any political party. Only fools and idiots would vote for any of them. Oh, wait....
Coke, Hookers and Dead/Indicted Campaign Managers....

5. Yeah I just stumbled onto that one |

As Tiabbi wrote in his piece (this clicked with the picture I thought)
Giuliani has good stage presence, but his physical appearance is problematic -- virtually neckless, all shoulders and forehead and overbite, with a hunched-over, Draculoid posture that recalls, oddly enough, George W. Bush, the vestigial stoop of a once-chubby kid who grew up hiding tittie pictures from nuns. Not handsome, not cuddly, if he wins this thing it's going to be by projecting toughness and man-aura. But all presidential candidates have to play the baby-kissing game, and here is an early chance for Rudy to show his softer side.

7. I Live in NYC and Have Few Problems With Any of These Things |

Sure, I love to point out conservative hypocrisy on just about every sex and drugs issue imaginable, but I don't actually SHARE their beliefs.
I suppose I am mildly amused about the GOP handwringing and cognitive dissonance, but I'm a social libertarian.
While I don't take part in most of the things I am willing to tolerate, I still believe they should be tolerated - including drug possession and prostitution (there are many far more compromising and dangerous jobs out there, and should be legalized to make it safer and more dignified).
The same would be true about, say, the death sentence. While the GOP may implode over these issues, I'm not going to bend over backwards to mock-defend the death sentence just to watch a moderate conservative go down.
No, let's be honest here - I dislike Guiliani because he was bellicose and draconian even before he tried to puff up his "toughness" factor (ok, not as absurdly as Romney) to get elected. Bush has proven for several years that not only are such theatrics ridiculous, they are directly leading to the creation of more terrorists.
Which reminds me - what does being the "mayor of 9/11" have to do with being able to articulate and command an effective foreign policy?
On a final note, I wish there were more Democratic candidates willing to show up in drag (not Hillary). I'd blame the media, but a liberal that was actually centered and passionate could stand up and differentiate between dressing like a girl and having a strong and effective foreign policy.
