Vitter, another madam comes forward
On New Orleans local TV news tonite...the Canal Street madam (ran a local "house of joy" that was shut down a few years ago) says that Vitter was also one of her clients. So it appears that his use of prostitutes was probably a pattern, rather than an anomaly.

1. Wait a minute! Isn't it a "cry for help"?
I mean, it HAS to be a cry for help if the john is a Republican, right?

Either that or he was doing "research".

3. Hmm...
Guys like Vitter usually go to a prostitute to get something they can't get at home. Often, it is something just a little "special".

This could get interesting, in a completely gratuitous way. ;-)

7. OH MY GOD! WHAT ABOUT THE SANCTITY OF MARRIAGE!
The gays did this, didn't they? They made this man go out and seek prostitutes! He left the safety of his home and family, went out into the cold, dark, wet, lonely streets of New Orleans and D.C. and paid to have sex with women!

Well thank God the gays can't get married - can you imagine how bad it would be if they had equal rights? GASP!

:sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm:

9. Oh, is that all? We already knew that story
unless he has been seeing N.O. prossies recently. Remember when he was going to run for governor, and it was reported that he had a year-long affair with a N.O. prostitute named, coincidentally, Wendy? Altho he hotly denied the assertions, he quickly withdrew from the race to spend more time in marriage counseling with his wife. But, that was relatively a long time ago. Are you talking recent events, since he has been in Congress?

10. Was that maybe the one that Ashcroft sent the FBI armada after?
Instead of protecting us from terrorists? He was probably hoping for Dem scandals, but that was pre-9/11 which was a license to be stupid.

11. everybody push and push hard for this slime balls resignation!
Vitter Flashback: Clinton should resign.Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) first got his start in Congress after replacing former Rep. Bob Livingston (R-LA), who “abruptly resigned after disclosures of numerous affairs” in 1998. At the time, Vitter argued that an extramarital affair was grounds for resignation:

“I think Livingston’s stepping down makes a very powerful argument that Clinton should resign as well and move beyond this mess,” he said.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!CONTACT INFORMATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Contact Senator " I sleep with whores" Vitter and demand he resign!

Call and write alot

21. Thanks for posting this
I've been curious about whether Vitter had made any comments re: Clinton/Lewinsky. I didn't have any luck searching for it on Google and had assumed that he had perhaps not said anything about it because he wasn't in Congress when the scandal first broke. However, these comments are quite typical of hypocritical, fundy Repugs, and about what I would have expected him to have said.

13. Need a post 2004 instance
He is on record as saying it was previous to him being a Senator. A post 2004 "call" will be the final nail.
