1. If Webb-Hagel does not pass, there needs to be a huge fucking UPROAR
about how the GOPers are driving our military into the ground. People going back for their fourth/fifth deployments in 2 wars within a 6-year span--we can't keep this pace up. We are breaking the Army and Marines, they can't meet their recruiting goals, the Guard and Reserve are being abused and are not available for home emergencies, and the Air Force/Navy are NOT qualified fill-ins for ground troops. It's insane.

2. And the poor young men and women whose lives are ruined. Their mental
health is shattered by constant fear with no relief. Nobody cares about other people anymore. It is so disheartening.

3. I can not even imagine the stress of being in a combat zone for what amounts
to YEARS for many of these ground troops. I agree, there will be a huge psychological price to pay, years down the road, for both the veterans and their families.
