These polls are often--nay, usually--ridiculous. The Dean supporters will vote him tallest when John Kerry's standing right next to him. The various other supporters will vote for their guy regardless what the thrust of the question is, as long as it's some version of "who's better".
James Carville has said that John Edwards is the best stump speaker he's ever seen run for President. I'll defer to him on this one: he's a great touchstone of public opinion, since he's a dyslectic and visceral seat-of-the-pants guy.
Edwards. Speechifying's his thing.

Sharpton is head and shouders above the rest. John Edwards is a distant second, and at times Howard Dean is in second place.
