9. Did I miss something?
The last time I checked, I didn't vote for the war, the Patriot Act, and NCLB.

Policy disagreements should be allowed on a political board.

16. Not about policy disagreements...
Take a close look at some of the vitriol that comes out...much is often insulting and crude...hardly befitting folks interested in a serious discussion...

22. Speaking for myself
I do not make insulting or crude remarks, although I've been called a hater by Clinton supporters. I disagree with Senator Clinton about many, many issues: foreign policy, trade, education, the war, philosophy of governing, health care.

I also think that it hardly befits folks interested in a serious discussion to change the subject.

6. Dean and Clark both
Dean the first night; Clark the first day. It does sound like it will be a terrific conference.

14. Here's the schedule for the keynote speakers.
"Dean, chairman of the Democratic National Committee and governor of Vermont from 1991 to 2003, will kick off the convention as Thursday's evening keynote speaker. Dean addressed the Netroots community at the 2006 YearlyKos Convention in Las Vegas <...>

Dean will follow opening remarks from Daily Kos founder Markos Moulitsas Zúniga and a warm Chicago welcome from Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) the Senate's assistant majority leader <...>

On Friday, Gen. Wesley Clark, the retired four-star general and a vocal critic of the Bush administration's handling of the Iraq war, will speak to conference attendees as the morning's keynote speaker <...>

Organizers expect to announce more than 100 speakers, panelists, and workshop presenters between now and August. Sen. John Edwards, Sen. Barack Obama, and Gov. Bill Richardson have already confirmed their participation in a Presidential Leadership Forum set for August 4."

24. Last year C-Span only carried the forums...not any major speakers.
Dean's speech was put up on the internet a few days later. Here's about 8 minutes of it. What a reception!

10. Can someone please ask her why she didn't speak up when Bush started military actions?
If she is now saying that she didn't know how Bush would use the authority the way he did (which I am assuming she means to actually go into war); can someone please ask her why she didn't speak up when he started military actions.

Daily KOS:
Should Hillary attend YearlyKos 2007? w/poll
by David Boyle

Sun Jul 01, 2007 at 11:44:21 AM PDT
In last week's diary Is Hillary afraid to attend YearlyKos 2? w/POLL, we explored some issues about Hillary Rodham Clinton vis-a-vis the upcoming YearlyKos 2007 convention. This week's diary will be a drier and more analytical look at whether Hillary should attend YK2, or, putting it another way, if she should want to attend

:sarcasm:

Seeing that she belongs to the DLC, whose "CEO", Al From, has made a point of saying the netroots were nothing but a mob of worthless nutjobs, or words to that effect, it's like the Queen deigning to come out of her castle and mix with the riff-raff. They'll probably have to give her a Silkwood shower after she's made her appearance.
