==Edwards joined that chorus of critics at his appearance in Fort Dodge on Thursday night, saying Bush is "delusional about what's happening in Iraq."

"I think if we don't force George Bush's hand, he will not end this war," Edwards told reporters, calling on sitting members of the U.S. Congress — including five of his rivals in the presidential contest — to tie war funding to binding time-tables for when troops must be withdrawn.

Beyond that, however, Edwards calls for renewed diplomacy around the world combined with an aggressive and potentially expensive amount of humanitarian aid internationally.

Edwards wants the United States to take a greater role in fighting AIDS in Africa, preventing genocide in Darfur, fighting poverty in developing parts of the world and helping bring primary school education to 100 million children in impoverished countries.==
