GOP Nation Building mission escapes MSM scrutiny |
|
What is happening in Iraq is not a war -- it is nation building. Repubs love war but they hate nation building so it is being sold as war. Propping up a government and (at least in theory)building roads, schools and power plants are post-war activities, eg. nation building. But again language is all important in the effort to convince Americans to support GOP policies and practices which they actually oppose.
I think it is high time to ask the GOP candidates for their stance on nation building, specifically nation building in Iraq.
Some questions you will never hear on the mainstream media: "When did the pResident change his stance on nation building?" "Why does the GOP support this indefinite nation building mission in Iraq?" "Should we not rebuild NOLA with some of the resources which are being given to Iraq?" "In 2000, candidate B*sh said "I do not believe that our troops should be used for nation building" - what changed the pResident's mind?"

1. You are correct. Now, who will start asking it. Write to Lou Dobbs. |

If you can convince him that it needs to be asked, he will ask it over, and over, and over, and over and over!
