It is the hypocrisy, stupid |
|
Was either on MSNBC or CNN that a reporter for the Christian Science Monitor (I think) and the host of the show concluded that today most voters just shrug reports about politicians cheerfully offering their penises as if they were the nectar of the gods.
And I wanted to shout at the screen: it is not the infidelity; it is the hypocrisy. When those Republicans who wrap themselves in the mantle of "family values" in public and in private behave like regular perverts the voters should not shrug it off. At least, not their "base."
Of course, their "base" is often the same. It never failed. The "holier" they claimed to be the more outrageous they behaved.

1. The same idiots who believe the "family values" crap will believe this new meme. |
|
There's no reasoning with some people. They want to believe the "family values" mythology and nothing will deter them.
