What options do we have?
Capitulate to the cabal and see a monarchy established?

Allow the cabal to grow unchecked and become a fascist government?

Leave the status quo and watch our country devolve into a 3rd rate power?

Impeach

Investigate, charge, try, imprison as appropriate

What else? What other options are there?

1. Remove ALL neocons from the elected positions in the federal government.
Pressure the living hell out of the Democrats to START doing the right things for this country and its people.

2. Impeachment is the only choice to save America!
What would the founders of our country who sacrificed everything think about the spineless politicians we now have supposedly representing us?

3. Did you read what John Dean said
the other day. He interprets the Administrations recent claims of executive privilege as an offensive move, in other words they think they will win in court and further expand executive branch power. Kinda scary, but then its been a scary 6 years already.

7. They WILL win in court
One of the first thing the Nazis did in Germany was pack the courts with sympathizers. Then all the lawsuits and other challenges to their aggression (domestic) were dismissed, Nazis convicted of crimes were given minimal or no punishment (like Libby), and Bolsheviks, liberals, and other "enemies" were given draconian penalties for minor or trumped-up offenses.

This is another MAJOR step toward fascism.

5. The only VIABLE options are 1. and 2. And 6. or 7.
I don't think 3. will happen, and 4. and 5. require that our "representatives" in DC actually carry out our wishes, which ain't gonna happen. If 1. or 2. reaches its conclusion, hopefully the UN will intervene and liberate us.

IMO our best hope for resucing the nation ourselves is either:

6. a tax revolt, where the 75% of us who believe in the constitution stop paying all federal taxes until Rove is in prison and Diebold is out of business, or

7. A general strike, where the same 75% refuse to do ANY WORK until serious repairs are made.

9. The question wasn't what options does Congress have
we know what those are, and they aren't going to exercise them. The question is what options do WE have.

8. no easy options
Thanks to George's intransigence and his party's continued hesitance to pull the plug on George, there are no easy options. It's bad when we pine for the good ole' Watergate days when Republican leaders at least had the balls to tell Nixon it was time.
