The Words of FDR Echo In The Campaign of Hillary Clinton
...and, in reality, ANY Democrat who gets the nomination:

Never before in all our history have these forces been so united against one candidate as they stand today. They are unanimous in their hate for me--and I welcome their hatred. I should like to have it said of my first Administration that in it the forces of selfishness and of lust for power met their match. I should like to have it said of my second Administration that in it these forces met their master.

1. To even compare Senator Clinton to
President Roosevelt in this campaign is ludicrous

2. so you're saying FDR was more polarizing?
After all, this is what the quote is about.

3. When Hillary wins all but one state in the electoral college...

Then we can consider FDR "more polarizing".

4. interesting. I never said or implied FDR was more so...
I simply (and accurately) stated FDR was hated by the rightwing - almost as much (or more so, take you pick) as Hillary Clinton.

5. Your own post #2 uses those exact words.

"so you're saying FDR was more polarizing?"

:eyes:

Apparently he was able to win 46 out of 48 states. Doesn't look like a polarizing figure to me.

Could Hillary do that? Not even her husband could.

8. I asked someone a question. Right, Alexander? A question concerning a quote..

Where does your confusion lie?

But FDR was, indeed, polarizing to the rightwing. :eyes: How is that poster #6 gets that and you don't?

6. One of the qualifications that I do
not require is to be the most hated by the right wing. Senator Clinton needs to worry about the left wing.
