1. This is a town hall format. GMA has Diane with the Edwards taking questions
from the audience for most of the morning, cutting back to other segments in the studio. Very relaxed format.

2. Diane Sawyer is so much better than Katie Couric
It's a good format for them.

3. This has been a great program. Excellent questions, and thoughtul, innovative answers.
John Edwards truly has specific, workable ideas and programs to move this country ahead in education, health care and personal economics. I don't see how anyone would NOT want this man to President. And Elizabeth is - well, I don't want to go over the top - so I'll just say, she is clearly a very special lady.

John said earlier that their 30th wedding anniversary is coming up. Diane asked how they planned to celebrate. John, almost shyly admitted they are going to renew their vows. That's going to be a hell of a ceremony.

4. Right...
Especially when she turned the Edwards/Clinton "Let's exclude the non-DLC candidates" exchange into nothing more than an anecdote.

5. This was great
I usually do not watch GMA but made a note to do so.

Edwards was great, with sense of humor about his haircut, but dead serious about other issues.

He was there for the duration of two hours - with other news and weather in between.

I think that this is the best way to get to know the candidates. And he provided an excellent explanation for the "conspiracy" to limit debates.
