What would happen if Lieberman is the one who filibusters tonight?
Is that possible? Is there recourse? Wouldn't that be a PR disaster?

1. That whiny voice? All night?
Is that the newly-approved torture technique?

3. Isn't Lieberman now an "Independent?"
I know he caucuses with the Democrats, but I would think his switch to "I" would make him more politically aligned with the "Rs"

4. Of course it has made him more politically aligned with the Rs!
Who the bloody hell do you think put him in office? (Aside from the tens of thousands of Democrats who played traitor to their party and abandoned the Democratic candidate, Ned Lamont, in favor of Holy Joe DINO, that is.)

5. So why would a filibuster by Lieberman be "a PR disaster?"
Edited on Tue Jul-17-07 03:31 PM by KansDem
It would further draw the "Rs" into their self-created cesspool.

6. Unfortunately, he is still strongly associated with the Democrats
I believe Faux News is still listing him with a D after his name.

7. That is what I was thinking. I hope they strip him of all his committee assignments and seniority
if they can, if it happens
