I predict Jeb will jump in the race. The Repubs are VERY unhappy with their candidates, and I say |
|
that Jeb will jump in and save the day for them.
Their main objection was that his name is Bush. I think they will weigh their options, and decide the Bush name can be overcome easier than their slate of losers that are now running.

All candidates are distancing themselves from Bush. Why on earth would they want his brother to enter?
I just don't see it happening. JMO.

7. Consider it bookmarked |

so we can all come back and have a good laugh at your expense.
I would say that Jeb Bush has about the same chance of being on the repub ticket in 2008 as Michael Moore.

I would say that Jeb Bush has about the same chance of being on the Repub ticket in 2008 as George W. Bush had in 2000.
I remember when he "won" the Repub nomination, I thought "WHAAA...?!?!? They can't be serious?!?!?"
But that was before I knew the fix was in...
If Jeb runs, the fix is in...

No way. Besides, I don't think Jeb would be the least bit interested.

10. No way. The only GOPers remotely likely to jump in at this point are Newt and Hagel-- |
|
unless they're both on the DC Madam's list. Hell, Newt would run even if he WAS.

he's already directed all of his would-be fundraisers to the Mitt Romney camp.
Jeb's content to sit back on his laurels and collect the paychecks, maybe do a little light lobbying.

American patriots are seeing through the evil-doing cabal of republicon cronies.
I'd bet a sack of Krispy Kreme doughnuts they will vomit Jebbie out of the public arena so fast that republicon diapers will be soild across the fruited plain (nudge, nudge, wink, wink, Jeff Christie).

Cheney knows all about him, too--he has all of Hagel's deepest personal secrets on file from when he was being vetted by Cheney to be Bush's VP.

23. I think the BFE made a deal with McCain in 2004 that Jeb would stay out |
|
It bought McCain's turn-around support.
I really don't think anyone named Bush would get elected in '08.

papa will never let another "bush" in the race right now . . .
he is young enough for 2012 . . . and 2016 if necessary
plus - he would be saddled with this Iraq debacle - and papa would never allow that . . . got to be handed to a Dem

25. I posted Monday that John Roberts will run for much the same reasons |
|
and that Jeb would be his replacement as the CJ. But I do agree that the repubs seem to just going through the motions and they will have a surprise candidate at their convention in Aug 08.
