Colorado and Vermont democrats donated the most to Obama
Yesterday I read where Obama pulled in the most donations from Vermont. I did not copy the story and don't remember who had the article.
Today, however, another little news item comes up saying Colorado donated the most to Barack Obama. I copied that one.

R (AP) - Republicans and Democrats fighting for their parties' presidential nominations have reaped nearly three million dollars in donations from Coloradans.

Democrat Barack Obama has taken in nearly one million and Republican Mitt Romney about $500,000.

Democrats have taken almost $400,000 more than the GOP. Senator Hillary Clinton is third among Democrats, behind New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani is second among Republican candidates.

3. Interesting
Would be more interesting to see if there exists an anomaly, i.e., a few large donations from contributors from these two fine states. If the donations fit his nationwide pattern then it is good news for any Dem nominee to switch Colorado. I think NM is in the bag for the Dems, (difference of 6k votes in 2004)so a 14 point electoral college switch is a great thing.
