This just in: the candidates are running AGAINST one another |
|
for the nomination.
Seems self-evident, but apparently it isn't.
Just thought I'd mention it.

1. Isn't that the way it's always done, sort of? There are so many people |
|
running, they're trying to weed each other down-and out!

2. Always figured that's how it works |
|
yet one candidate criticizing another is apparently a novelty. I'm getting in touch with my Political Science profs to complain about how they misled me way back when. Hell, I might sue somebody, if I can persuade Edwards to take my case.

I was fully expecting all Dem candidates to simply state, in respect of every issue, "I fully concur with everything my colleagues say."
So they're going to try and distinguish themselves one from the other? They're going to DISAGREE on HOW to solve the problems of the nation? They're going to have DIFFERING OPINIONS on what needs to be done, and in what order of priority?
Oh.My.God.
No wonder the MSM invariably casts doubt on our party's ability to march in lock-step and stick to tried-and-true talking points, instead of venturing out into the field of differing viewpoints, differing ideas.
Apparently, all is lost.
Do I really need the :sarcasm: thingy?
