Kucinich Hospitalized
Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich remains hospitalized Wednesday in Ohio after aides say he suffered a severe case of food poisoning.

Kucinich spokesman Andy Juniewicz said the Ohio congressman started feeling ill Sunday before flying to Florida for a campaign appearance. He became sicker in Florida, and was forced to cut the trip short to return to Cleveland.

Juniewicz said he was admitted to a Cleveland-area hospital Monday afternoon, and is being treated for “severe symptoms consistent with food poisoning.”

He said Kucinich was improving, but may remain in the hospital another day or two.

Juniewicz said Kucinich missed votes in the House Monday and Tuesday, but did not have any campaign appearances scheduled. His next planned event is this weekend.

13. Badly Washed Veggies
sounds like it to me. Not everybody's careful, you know, even in big or famous restaurants. If somebody thought something had been washed, and it hadn't, or wasn't washed carefully enough, vegetarians can get sick too.

Restaurants may have signs up everywhere saying that employees have to wash their hands...but who's checking? I've seen many employees walk out of stalls and out the door without washing...followed by me walking out of the restaurant!

22. I was a vegetarian when I got it, too. Never did pin down what
it was... they thought maybe some tainted yogurt I ate (if he's vegan, that wouldn't be it, tho), or maybe even bad water. Could be what you suggest, momster.

9. Must Have Gone To Dunkin' Donuts
It's co-owned by the respective financial conglomerates of the Bush's and the Romney's. Definitely not Democrat-safe. They probably put plague in Kucinich's chocolate glazed.

16. Tinfoil statement? Gimme a fucking break.
Food poisoning has nothing to do with tinfoil. Hell... I know two people hospitalized for food poisoning in the last month.

Guess they must be conspiracy theorists. :eyes:

24. I had a couple of bouts of mild food poisoning in the last
couple of weeks that I think came from raw fruit. With all the food we are importing with practically oversight anymore, better look for more. I have started soaking everything with a rind in bleach water and cooking everything else. I don't trust it. I started reading food labels really carefully and even once trustworthy brands like Del Monte are being canned and processed in China. ??? :wtf:
