Will Obama haters call on Hillary and Edwards to skip NBC/MSNBC debates? |
|
Edited on Thu Jul-19-07 02:08 AM by TeamJordan23
Because NBC signed Isiah Washington recently to a TV contract. Maybe the anti-Obama posters (who are making a big deal about Isiah's donation) should call Edwards and Hillary to distance themselves from NBC?

It is ludicrous to compare MSNBC debates to receiving $2,300 from Isiah Washington... If HRC and Edwards have received money from known bigots it would be a great symbolic gesture to return the money or give it to charity. Obama did the right thing when he gave away the Rezko money.
It is very paranoid to call anyone who criticizes Obama or hopes he will return the money an "Obama hater." At least one person who is angry about this said "I love Obama" in that thread but simply thinks Obama happens to be wrong on this. After all, Obama is human and makes mistakes.

Bigots such as Pat Buchanan work for MSNBC. CNN has Lou Dobbs. Are you saying candidates should refuse to appear in primary debates?
P.S. what do you think about Obama receiving $14,000 from News Corp./Faux executives? Should he appear in their debate since he takes their money?

10. Than why should Obama return his money? Does Obama share any of his views? Nope |
|
It is different with Rezko is someone who has been indicted and had a relationship with Obama. Washington has no relationship with Obama.

11. For similar reasons HRC returned a contribution from a bigot in the past |
|
It would be a great gesture if Obama did the same. We know HRC would.

16. Abdurahman Alamoudi . At least three other politicians returned money from him too |
|
Edited on Thu Jul-19-07 02:29 AM by draft_mario_cuomo
While Googling for the name I found that three other politicians in addition to HRC, Congressman Jim Moran (D) and 2003 Republican state senate candidate Kamal Nawash did the same. The third other politician? One George W. Bush.

Once news broke of his contribution the money was returned.
You are trying to mislead DUers. First you tried to make it sound as if HRC returned the money because he was indicted at the time. That is false. Now you are trying to revise history to make it seem as if his indictment in 2003 was an inevitable in 2000. That was not the case. She returned his contribution because of his history of anti-Semitism. So did even *

He called me and Obama supporters Brownshirts, has no validity at all.
Gave him numerous opportunities to apologize or renounce his statement he wouldn't. So him condemning Washington is a joke.
