10. Dean going out of his way
not to directly attack Kerry on special interests. Very odd, i think everyone expected him to hammer Kerry..He hammered Bush, and talked about special interests controlling both parties, but nothing directly abotu Kerry even though the moderator asked specifically about previous statements on Kerry/special interests.

Now kerry is answering about special interests..

Kerry says he doesn't recieve PAC money, but over at opensecrets.org it says he's gotten $73,784 in PAC money, more than any other candidate in the race. Besides Bush of course.

to make up for the fact that he was helping victims of millions of dollars in negligence at the hands of corporations get the money they deserved?

Right.

He was doing more for society taking on the big expensive cases which actually forced state-wide and nation-wide changes in corporate policy.

Maybe if he took time out to do a dog bite case for free, it would have been your child who had her insides sucked out by those defective swimming pool drains.

but that's my opinion.

I don't think Kerry did well because it was all platitudes and an insvestigative committee that would re-examine it. Don't mean to be harsh but I expect a little more than that from someone who's had the opportunity to opportunity to study it from close up.

Kerry has some good points but I don't think this is one of them.

Right now he's talking about tax cuts and sounding good but I'm still demanding good back-up to anyone's words.

86. If we get the massive dem turnout we're getting in the primaries
we'll get seats in the house and senate. Less of a worry.

94. Off topic - Please read this thread because
in that case you really need an anti-NAFTA candidate. It's only going to get worse if we don't stop it now. More and more jobs are disappearing everyday. Hope you find something good soon!

points for Kerry again, but i think it's more because he considers his debate opponents irrelevant.

92. Everyone is doing well.
This a lot better than the previous debates. The one thing I wish they would stay away from is the "Where's OBL?" argument. Because it's going to bite us in the ass when they pull him out. Use OBL in the Iraq distraction sense but not in the "You can't get him!" sense.

100. JK on war vote
knows what it's like when "you lose the consent for that war."

War as a matter of last resort.

Means something to JK and Amer. people. Doesn't mean anything to *.

102. Kerry on familiarity with war
trying to defend vote on iraq war..

blaming president, which IMO still ignores the fact that he voted on it..Kerry and everyone else knew damn well Bush was a cowboy bent on his way or the highway, and they still wore pink tutus..

Now saying Bush couild have done it without congress....then why did you vote for it, Kerry?

i think he's complicating his own defense.

117. That's right.
America's hero.

The hair raised on the back of my neck, and goosebumps all over, heart pounding. Not the first time Dennis has generated that response. My mom, listening on the phone because she doesn't get MSNBC, had a moment of shocked silence (if you know my mom, you know what a rare thing silence is for her ;-))then said:

Where would we be if he wasn't running? Who would have the courage to stand up and tell it like it is?

She's a Clinton democrat. She's leaning Edwards. But she agrees, too.
