I turned off a lifelong Repub at work today to Fred Thompson |
|
I knew she was a vehement, one-issue voter, that issue being "pro-life." All I had to say was "Fred Thompson lobbied for a pro-choice group." Just for the bonus, I threw in his line about "everybody is entitled to representation ..." and added that "yeah, a child molester is entitled to an attorney but it doesn't have to be ME."
She was aghast. She already loathes Mitt, Rudy, and Ol' Crazy Train McLame. And now Fred.
My work here is done!

Knowledge is power! And you knew it both ways-you knew about your co-worker and you knew Thompson's record.

4. Her response - STAY HOME |
|
As in, "I have no one to vote for so I guess I'll stay home." And she had decided Freddie was the Great Reincarnation of Reagan.
God I love this stuff!

10. Now Wouldn't You Have Felt Badly |
|
...if her little peanut head had just exploded? Much like the scenario below or like when Kirk talks a computer to death...not that she is as smart as a computer or even as smart as a ribbon cable but when something just quits computing...it can get all messy.

5. Pat robertson for pres? Newt Grinchman? Bill frist still has an organization. |
|
eegad. I forgot about frist until just now.
You KNOW that he and sanitorium are salivating, thinking that they could untie the base even more than the current cr*p of hoodlums and idiots in the GOP.

7. Please ask your co worker if she thinks they will bring in J Roberts at the last minute. I |
|
would like to know if she knows who (Chief Justice)John Roberts is. I believe this may happen at the GOP convention. Please post her reaction. Give her something to think about.
Feel free not to support the idea, but it is something you heard(seen on the internet).

8. By the GOP NOT policing their own.... |
|
by pushing for impeachment-they will be doomed for many years to come IMHO. I would faint if a Bush EVER won a national election (that wasn't fixed) in my lifetime. If GOP think they took a drudging after Watergate-Just think of what Iraq will do for their image. My more moderate GOP friends are either now DEMS or too disgusted to vote or too embarassed to talk about it with me (I hold their toes to the fire).
