he seems to be more relaxed in this one to me anyway.

1. He's much better in this debate.
He sounds more forceful too. He's adding more one-liners too.

2. He's done better in each debate
but I think he still has quite a bit of room for improvement.

6. Yeah, sometimes we forget that there's still a long way to go
and that the public really isn't paying attention yet. By the time they are, Obama will be at the top of his game.

8. Debate is not Barack's favorite format
He prefers up close and personal, relate to the people stuff where you don't have soundbite answers.

That said, he realizes the importance of debates and yes, he's been honing his style.

The sharktank format is the worst.

15. Talking to our enemies is the only way
I'm sure the people who supported this war, including those in the MSM, will disagree, but frankly, I don't think their opinion is worth anything.

13. It's Just You... IMO, These Continual Debates May Start Getting
on people's nerves. The Hoopla & Hype seem a bit over the top!! Unfortunately, once again we are being "told" by MSM who we should nominate!

I'm sure Clinton has enough intelligence, but for some reason I find I have more reservations about her than the time before! Can't put my finger on the dot about it, but I just can't get excited about her as a nominee! I do know that I won't campaign for her and it WILL be very difficult to actually vote for her. There was a time when I thought very highly of her, but she lost me a long time ago.

There is no doubt she knows how to play the game! She just hasn't sold me on her sincerity!

20. It might not be "just you,"
but it's sure as hell NOT me. He repelled me further this time around.

It might be interesting to hear from those who aren't already supporting him, who are most likely to like his performance regardless of merit. Maybe a poll to sort out your responses?

I just don't like his position on too many issues. Every time I listen to him I dislike him more. Tonight, the repugnant responses were his willingness to leave nuclear power "on the table," his willingness to keep insurance and drug corporations "at the table" on health care, and his unwillingness to mandate universal care.

His presence and speaking skills are fine; it's not HOW he says it, for me, it's WHAT he says.

23. he was given the "good" questions
ones that showed him off. I thought the thing was a sham. The internet got co opted tonight by CNN. People may have posed the questions, but the DECIDER was CNN, not the people. I was grossed out mostly.
