they took a break and you can hear Leahy talking to someone. He just said that the AG does not have his trust and he is continuing to go on. He is terribly torn by what is happening to the DOJ. Morale is at a low.

On second thought maybe somebody is interviewing Leahy. I really can't tell. I'm just listening to a audio feed - can't see the video.

I heard protesters in the hearing room - yell out when they went to break.

Leahy said that he wants questions answered - but if not - he might go for contempt.

Wondering outloud why the president would want to go down in history having the worse DOJ.

Need to back up the rhetoric with results and they haven't done that.

I am sorry, I have some respect for Leahy, and the anthrax mailed to his office had to be horrific, but if he's still wondering why Bush does what he does, I really have to question his intelligence.
