1. Edwards within the MoE for 2nd with Obama...
As I have long said the race right now is for 2nd place. The winner of that will battle HRC in the championship round. Many Obama supporters are pronouncing Edwards' campaign dead because they want a two-way race between Obama and HRC (the only way HRC is going to lose is in a two-way race). This is more evidence that this is not a two-way race right now. Obama has not clinched the mantle of being the alternative to HRC. Edwards overtaking Obama this year is more likely than Obama overhauling HRC.

2. If Gore Doesn't Run, Hillary Is Going To Be "Given" The Nomination
There is little doubt in my mind.

Even if she falters, they will manipulate if necessary, to make sure she is nominated.

The repubs are in such bad shape, she will probably end up in the WH, but her being the candidate will make it a close enough race, that the media can spend months focusing on the horserace.
