A Fluff Question: Did You Like Hillary's Jacket?
I thought she looked pretty in pink ~ and took Edwards' comment as a joke, though I'm not sure it's smart to joke about a woman's clothing choices.

16. He was on the other side of Hillary...
and said when it was his turn, "Actually, I kind of like the jacket."

I dunno. I laughed at that more than Edwards initial comment.

2. Yes...
...it appeared more coral on my teevee, but I'm really glad she is wearing color and not the basic black she wore when running for the Senate.

That said - I think she's doing well but still not my first choice.

3. Yes, I did - she looked womanly and not afraid to show it
I thought it looked good on her, in any case, and set her out from the pack. It was a smart choice given the trying to be a man baloney that was being spun in the press last week.

5. I think it made her look
lovely, but I didn't like the way it looked from the back. (Was that shallow enough! :)

7. Yes, i liked it.
I commented to my "other" while watching the debate last night that Hillary looked particularly stunning.

...Almost an "oooh-la-la" moment. :bounce:

8. Like Hillary okay, didn't care for the jacket
Not that it matters one bit ... except as dish amongst us girls regarding fashion. I didn't care for the color on her (too candy pink), the texture (too Dana Buchman) or the shape (collarless, longish). All in all, I didn't like it because it's exactly the kind of thing I always find for women my age (I'm a touch younger than Hillary, but still over 50), and they always seem so unoriginal and matronly. Why is it so hard to find stuff that isn't too young but doesn't look like Barbara Bush?

9. I Think It Was A Joke
not a good one, but he had little choice. They said to say something he didn't like about her, and he didn't really want to be negative at that moment.

12. Well one thing, she sure looks better, has better taste than Laura or the two twins.
And Chelsea makes them look like a bunch of primates. I suppose that is why that sicko in S.C. mentioned her, she was jealous of class. Which the bush's sure as hell don't have.

17. I thought she looked nice, and the jacket was a great color on her.
She's looked good during all the debates, actually. (And even though I'm a supporter of hers, I definitely don't think she always makes the best fashion choices in general - but the debates have been good for her.)

I'm sure Edwards was joking, but I thought it was an odd joke to make. I know he meant no harm, but I cringed a little bit when he said it!
