Are we gonna see Senator Al Franken next year...?
The great Al Franken (from my hometown btw)...if he can exploit these terrible approval ratings for "Pot Head" Norm Coleman...we just might...

Down to a 43% approval...with 48% approving...

We could see Franken run a campaign similar to Wellstone's first run...alot of wry humor in his ads which nevertheless drives the point home...

1. I hope to canvass for him next fall...
It would be a hoot to see Al on CSPAN.

3. I think yes-Minny voters have shown themselves to be unafraid
to vote outside the box candidates. You see Norm Coleman laughing behind McConnell after the all night defense budget debate-making jokes about life and death issues-screw him and screw the republican party-first over people needs crew especially in the senate

4. From what I read yesterday, YES you might!
Al's raising a lot more $$ than Coleman, and he's well liked by most people too!

5. I will fight tooth and nail to ensure that we have DFL senator next year
I like Al and everything, but he's not the endorsed candidate yet. I hope we have a good, constructive primary followed by a right proper ass-kicking general election next fall.

6. Hopefully he can get the endorsement...
If he's endorsed, I think he stands a pretty good chance of beating that Bush-worshiping Moonie named Norm Coleman.

But you never know. These Repukes can magically win these elections even despite overwhelming unpopularity.:eyes:

8. Franken supports a "quickie impeachment" of Bush...
If Bush isn't already out by early January 2009.

Franken has my support already.
