Is There A New Development In The Tillman Case?.......... |
|
As I turned on CNN this a.m. I caught just the end of a news story about a General maybe losing a star because I think he knew something about the 'friendly fire' incident but didn't say anything - or something like that. I really was half listening and groggy from just waking up.
Then it dawned on me - I remember reading yesterday on DU that hearings are being initiated by Waxman (I think) on this Tillman case and that he requested documents from the WH.
I know I probably don't have the full story right - but was thinking that this General is taking one for the team - to protect someone in the WH.
Does anyone have more info on this?

...and the Bush White House needs a scapegoat. Therefore they will hang this retired general out to dry, strip him of a star and lower his monthly pension $$, and say that he's the one who lied and we (the Bush White House) knew nothing, nothing at all about it.
Yeah, that sounds about right.
