Giuliani 50% Clinton 44% Still the problem, n'est pas?
Obama 52% Giuliani 43%

It doesn't make one darn bit of difference how far ahead Hillary is in the Democratic Primary if she isn't the most electable in the general. If the party base nominates Clinton, so be it. But I will not participate the political suicide of the Democratic party.

LATEST matchup poll 7/26

Pres '08 Battleground July 26 Giuliani (R) 50%, Clinton (D) 44%
Pres '08 Battleground July 26 Clinton (D) 47%, F. Thompson (R) 45%
Pres '08 Battleground July 26 Obama (D) 52%, Giuliani (R) 43%
Pres '08 Battleground July 26 Obama (D) 56%, F. Thompson (R) 36%

8. Apparently you only post polls where Obama is ahead.
Not surprising as an Obama supporter but I love how you make predictions based on one favorable poll.

12. Unlike you I don't LIVE to jump on every Hillary lead thread....
...I just ignore those threads and try to keep focused on my candidate's strengths. And I make good use of the ignore button as often as possible.

13. Well its hard to jump on Obama leads threads, they don't happen very often.
Your analysis still stinks.

10. I worked in polling and know it's too early for surveys like this to be valid. Check 2004. nt

2. What the fuck!
Hillary gets trounced by Rudy-Patooti and barely beats "Swamp Thing"...

While Obama solidly defeats them both.

Now someone please tell me how the "E WORD" ("electability) is not a legitimate issue when considering Hillary.

7. Looks like the many rabid repukes are holding their fire for now...
and pledging to support the one who stands best chance of actually winning in November.

...unlike many Dems who might want to think about what "winning" actually means.

6. That poll is an obvious outlier. I like Obama but there's no way he has a 9pts lead on Rudy
All of the top 3 can beat the GOP (though Edwards has slipped a little)

Here are the last 6 polls for National Heats

Rasmussen 07/09 - 07/10 800 LV 43 44 13 Clinton +1.0
CNN 06/22 - 06/24 907 RV 48 49 1 Clinton +1.0

15. Obama would make any of them look like boyscouts, but it's way
to early for polls, who even knows if Thompson will still be anything to speak of, and Giuliani is living on borrowed time etc.
