Hillary is coming to Charleston, WV, tomorrow... |
|
:dilemma:
...and I need some help from my fellow DUers. She has agreed to hold a town meeting, and open the floor to questions, from local citizens, not from the press. There are a bazillion things that I'd like to ask her, but narrowing it down to one succinct question is difficult.
So here's my request to you -- if you could ask Senator Clinton one (presumably civil) question, what would it be?
Thanks in advance for your help!
:hi:

6. if they concentrated on Hillary's support for NAFTA and the WTO |
|
then it would give many people pause. WV has been hurt by these unfair, pro-rich policies.

A bunch of screaming lefties protesting a rally against Hillary will increase her support in West Virginia...

9. According to the Charleston Gazette, |
|
the campaign is calling this an "economic policy town hall". She will take questions "on any number of issues that affect the economy, from health care to jobs to education". So I guess the NAFTA/WTO questions are in and the IWR questions are out.

2. If elected, what are her plans for dismantling the GOP only DoJ |

and rolling back all the unitary powers Cheney/Bush has grabbed.

5. Good questions. And which "unitary powers" would she relinquish? |
|
I find it hard to believe that any new President, not just Clinton, would "dismantle" much of anything the Bush Regime put in place.

10. Two questions for her |
|
1. Why is she supporting universal insurance coverage instead of universal, single-payer health care and under what circumstances, if any, would she support universal, single-payer health care?
2. She has said that, as president, she would reign in the federal raids in states with medical marijuanna laws. Would she do anything to further the actual legalization/decriminalization of medical marijuanna at the federal level?
Man, I so badly wish I could be there. I will definitely be checking here to see how things go. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to ask questions of Senator Clinton.:)

Trade with China seems to be extremely problematic, not just for the US, but many other countries, such as Mexico. What can she do to stem the tide of Chinese products overwhelming local economies?

I'd love to hear her give her focus-group blather to try to get out of that one...
