Republicans rally around Hillary against Obama
It looks the GOP scum can't wait to rally around Hillary in her dust up with Obama. It turns out, they are proving Obama's point that Hillary's position is just like Bush's and a continuation of the policies of the past. I just hope all the Republican congressmen jump on Hillary's bandwagon too. I can't wait. Anytime Republicans rally around you, then it should send a signal to progressive voters that Hillary may not be in our best interests.

7. Mr. Homer, I think you nailed it
They know a Republic isn't going to win next year, and they damn sure don't want a black as president so they're already holding their nose and doing what to them is the unthinkable.

2. Obama's own oppo research debunks this but I love the smear by association
"Anytime Republicans rally around you"

That's funny because the Obama campaign from day 1 has touted his ability to appeal to Republicans as a major advantage.

6. Thanks for catching the irony
Supporters of a guy who is running on compromising with the Republicans for the sake of "unity" (aka triangulation) love to complain when HRC gets some support from Republicans. Which is it? It seems the standard is when Republicans rally around Obama it is great; when they agree with HRC it is further proof she is Republican-lite (even though she has the same platform as Obama  ).

11. Same old same old
Obama gets former Bush pioneer and its a coup for his campaign and a feather in his cap.

Hillary gets a former Bush pioneer and its a scandal proving a secret relationship between the Clintons and Bushes.

4. Hillary's position is NOT...
...just like Bush's. Although I think her criticism of Obama was wrong, electing to NOT engage an adversary is not the same thing as intentionally antagonizing an adversary. And it's no small surprise that they are rallying around Hillary's position, as it is more in line with their way of approaching foreign policy. That doesn't mean it is in line, just more in line. And frankly, Romney saying he agrees with Hillary more than Obama, when he has made several jabs against Obama (not surprising considering his background), isn't exactly earth shattering, and it's a far way from him saying that he thinks Hillary has solid foreign policy views and credentials. Romney is simply an opportunist, and his internal polling may see Obama as more of a challenge to him in the GE than Hillary, thus his selective targetting. Romney does absolutely nothing based on principle, everything is a matter of expediency.

5. Just last week Obama supporters were bragging about having more Republican support.

oh, well.

And this week I've read from Obama supporters how Obama is like Reagan, how Reagan ended the cold war, and how Osama was offered to Clinton and Clinton declined him.

8. Republicans rally around Clinton because they don't want her
frontrunner status dented from this.

9. Oh please. Talk about spin, sheesh.
Here is Hillary's statement, from the debate and the link from your op:

---------
“We’re not going to just have our president meet with Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez and, you know, the president of North Korea, Iran and Syria until we know better what the way forward would be,” Clinton said during the debate. “I don’t want to be used for propaganda purposes.
---------

Here is romney's bs:

---------
“A president meets with important leaders where there are mutual interests or where there’s been progress or hope to be key progress,” Romney said. “Discussions with people of that nature are done through other parties and things of that nature, but you do not bestow the dignity of the presidency on people like .”
---------

Not the same.

The media is focused on this dustup at the moment, and of course this slimy repuke will stick his head in trying to get some of that spotlight, that attention.

Nothing romney says changes what Hillary said. Her answer was better than Obama's. He's not doing himself any favors by keeping this alive.

Nice try turning a comment by one repuke into an endorsement by the repuke party of Hillary tho. Well, a mediocre try at least.
