Poll question: Is Hillary Clinton "Bush-Lite"?
Apparently an exact quote from Obama has not been found and, from some research, only implied by Larry King when he interviewed her on CNN.

But the question indeed remains... is she?

2. Across the board? Of course not.
But they both share a thirst for corporate cash and a disturbing willingness to put corporate interests over those of working class Americans.

4. No. B*sh is beyond the pale. She's "REPUB-Lite", but only compared to old-school Repubs.
The current NeoCon branch of the Repub tree isn't
really even a "Repub" branch; it was grafted on
because the Repub party was simply a convenient
and suitable host. There is really no "lite" version
of the NeoCon cancer- you either have it, or you don't.

5. Been hearing that around here for years
I actually don't even like the term. But I sure can't figure out where the objection is coming from when DU and people like Jerome dumped the term on Hillary in the first place.

6. A completely ridiculous question. Of course not. Anyone who thinks so hasn't
looked at her voting record. One single bad vote does not make her some right-wing nutjob. People need to get some damned perspective.

9. This is nonsense. Her voting record makes her one of the most

progressive people in the Senate. And that's why the freepers can't stand her.

Progressive Punch, for example, rates her at 92% on progressive issues, just a fraction of a percent higher than Obama, by the way.

12. Rated slightly more prrogressive than Obama, eh?
Just wanted that fact in a subject line, lest it be overlooked.

13. The Clintoons are neoliberal imperialists, while Cheney is a neocon imperialist. Bush is insane!
If one reads the PNAC and AEI doctrine, you will find it very similar to the DLC's "Progressive" Policy Institute.

Neocons will rape the world, while neolibs will still rape the world, but they will use lubrication.

20. On foreing policy she is just "Bush", not "Bush Lite"
However, on domestic issues, at least she is pro-choice and does not represent Evangelical fundamentalist Republican voters.
