New Diageo/Hotline Poll: Clinton 39, Obama 30
I heard about this on CNN and thought I should post it for everyone to see. Yep. Obama is fading....right.

The Diageo/Hotline poll out today shows a big lead for that generic Democrat running for president, up 51% to 27% over the generic Republican. But the big news here is John McCain. If the Senator from Arizona drops his White House bid, the poll shows a huge proportion of his voters will flock to former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

The Democratic race continues to solidify as a two-way race, as Clinton and Obama both picked up significant support. Meanwhile, Fred Thompson gains double-digit support from May, putting him in a statistical tie with front-running Giuliani.

Democrats
Clinton 39 (+8 from last poll, out 5/20)
Obama 30 (+9)
Edwards 11 (+1)
Kucinich 3 (+1)
Richardson 2 (nc)
Biden 2 (+2)

6. I do not want him to lead this early. He is right where he needs to be
he is building his base. Then he will move up after his base is built.

9. How low Obama's expectations have gone...
Two months ago he was tied with Hillary in a couple polls with everyone screaming he was the new front runner...now the occasional dip into a single digit deficit fills them with paroxysm's of joy...

11. Ohh...yeah ok...
Lets see down 41-23 in the latest Rasmussen, down 15 in South Carolina post-debate, ahead in no state except Illinois, and there only ahead of Hillary by 4...

Yep, right where he wants to be I'm sure!!!!

13. That seems odd. They are all gaining? So where are the gains coming from?

16. Gore was included last time. This poll is worthless.
It includes Republicans who say they vote in Democratic primaries.

18. The previous poll included Gore, this one does not. So any gains are illusionary.
It also includes Republicans who stated they vote in Democratic primaries.

You think I as a Hillary supporter would be upset with yet another poll showing Hillary closing in on 40% support with a near double digit lead on Obama?

The difference between you and I is when I discount a poll its a problem I have with the methodology and I state so. You just claim ridiculous conspiracy theories when you don't like the results.
