I'd call it murder
Edited on Fri Jul-27-07 09:56 AM by Stargazer99
The truth is finally being forced out of this administration regarding the killing of Tillman. Medical evidence shows Tillman was killed with 3 bullets holes in the middle of his head (execution style I would say). Medical docs said it appeared Tillman was hit from an M-16 less than 10 ft away. Enemy fire my a**. This is your government by Republican conservatives..the first admendment is a farce in this country. Speak freely and you take the chance of being killed by this government. Your likely hood of death depends on how influencial you are. On top of the Tillman family being lied to (told it was enemy fire)and the time it has taken to release the truth to the common man every Republican ought to hang their head in shame. This country is rotten and corrupt under this administration (Republican)it makes me think this is the nature of the conservative Republican...they have not shown me much else besides the memory losses of key offices.

2. I think that it was 10 yards away
not 10 ft., which doe not change the point of your post, of course..

3. It was ten yards, but seems that the uniforms would have shown who was who...

4. Indeed, with three shots at his forehead
as if his face was a target practice.

5. Looks like they dropped my thread on "Fragging".

Hey it was a controversial post and definitely NOT said in reference to Pat Tillman. However i thought the thread had merit.

But while I'm on the subject we really don't know if Pat Tillman was putting unreasonable demands upon his fellows. He was a football player. A likely "blood and guts" type soldier. Just can't say for sure because i wasn't there.

Clearly though "Fragging" helped bring an end to the Vietnam War. the brass finally got the message: young green draftees weren't gonna choose to be the last person to die. So there were 600 documented cases of Vietnam officers getting intentionally killed by their own "friendlies". Another 1400 officers who died under questionable conditions.

Are we allowed to talk the real TRUTH here?

What is more unthinkable:

A war which caused 650,000 dead Iraqis?

Or a few well placed fragmentation grenades used to prevent NCO's from sending our poor kids out on suicide missions? Thereby saving many innocent lives.

I for one would have shot Lt. William Calley right in the back if i witnessed his atrocities in My Lai.
