For Tony Snow. The differences between a 'witch hunt' and investigating the AG for perjury.

In 1994, Ken Starr was granted a hunting license to investigate anything and everything he could find about Bill Clinton, going back decades. He investigated the real estate venture known as Whitewater, 'travel gate' from early 1993, the death of Vince Foster, Paula Jones' claims of sexual offense from the 1980's, and finally, Monica Lewinsky.

With the exception of the 'travel gate' part, none of these concerned the operation of the US government.


Today, we have the US government, under Bush/Cheney, violating the US Constitution, lying to Congress and the public about matters of grave consequence, violating international laws and treaties, and destroying the various Cabinet departments that make us a democracy. All of these involve the offices of the President and Vice President, making a special prosecutor necessary because of political contamination of the Dept. of Justice. The top attorney in the country, the AG, is the one accused of perjury!

We're not asking for another Ken Starr to probe everything in Bush's, Cheney's, Gonzo's, and Rummy's past lives. To do an equivalent investigation, we could look into Bush's AWOL status from the Texas Air National Guard, his and his family's dealings with the bin Ladens and Saudis, Bush's failed business ventures, his brother's exclusive contracts with the federal government (NCLB), his other brother's involvement with the failed savings and loan, his grandpa's involvement with the Nazis, Bush's selling of stock on insider information, Cheney's ongoing relationship with Halliburton, how Gonzales got his various career jobs, etc.

But we're not all that interested in that junk. We want to lay the groundwork for the impeachment of Gonzales, Cheney, and then Bush for their treasonous acts against us and this country.

We can dunk him, or torture him until he confesses to congress with the Devil to make the pain stop.
