ARG Poll Shows Bush Thing With A 25% Approval Rating
Edited on Fri Jul-27-07 04:10 PM by Mark E. Smith
I know poll fatigue is at an all time high, but damn that is one bottom scraping little old number ARG hangs on Georgie's long red nose. It's like he's down to little more than the drunks, skunks and psychopaths.

23% approval on the way he is handling the economy. Which puts him at the "can't balance a checkbook" level.

1. I'm no longer interested in Bush's approval numbers
They are lower than I thought possible.

The figure to watch now are whether most people support impeachment of Bush or Cheney.

3. Hey, but I just got an email from the RNC saying they were
on the rise and the Democratic Congress' numbers were tanking. Sheesh, ya just can't believe anything they say :sarcasm:

4. Bush is soaring ...
Bush is soaring like the Hindenbergh.

Congress is methodically going to dissect him so that the GOP candidates will have to distance themselves from him. The best time for an impeachment trial would be next summer forcing candidates to pick a side and causing Republicans to turn on one another.

As imperative as it is to remove Bush from office, it's even MORE imperative that he is not replaced by another Republican. The Democrats cannot allow Bush to pin "loosing" the Iraq war on them. This is his war and he has to take the blame. The "surge" is Bush's last hope and once that falls apart, he'll be truly be exposed as having no clothes.

The BEST thing that could happen is to do a double impeachment and strike a deal with Republicans to allow for a GOP moderate with no presidential aspirations (like Dick Lugar) to act as interim president to finish out Bush's term. Putting Nancy Pelosi in office would only make her "responsible" for "loosing Iraq" and could implode the 2008 election.

5. A good post
One thing, though (and forgive me for grammar Nazi tactics)....when you do not win a war, you lose.

When someone is insane, we say he has a screw loose.

I normally do not mention such things to posters, but you seem very intelligent. This is a common grammatical error made even by geniuses.
