Feingold chastises Hillary, Reid and the Congress
Edited on Fri Jul-27-07 09:13 PM by welshTerrier2
watch: http://www.youtube.com/v/Wy4qsIybLQc

CENK: Senator Hillary Clinton has called President Bush one of the worst Presidents in history. Senator Harry Reid, the Majority Leader, has as well. If you don’t take action against the worst President in history, how will history judge Senate Democrats?

FEINGOLD: I would think harshly, and I think those senators need to re-evaluate what they’re saying. How can you make that statement and do nothing? You’re just supposed to say, “Okay, good, he’s going to be gone in a few months”? That’s not the job of governance. And we are trying to reverse his policies, but when they completely ignore the results of the election. We have got to reflect as a Congress this outrage and the outrage of the American people…

thing at the same time.

It's because he's been doing the right thing the whole time, while politics caught up.

2. Pssst! Maybe you, Sen. Feingold, can convince some House people
to get on the impeachment bandwagon? I don't value censure much...

4. I wouldn't mind seeing Feingold at the top of the ticket
but I think he's more valuable in the Senate that as vice president.

5. With all due respect, "being the worst president" doesn't qualify one
for impeachment. I understand the point here, but there should be a distinction. Bush the Elder was one of the worst presidents in history, but not worthy of impeachment. OTOH, Reagan and Nixon were NOT among the worst in history, but both committed impeachable offenses. It just so happens that * is both disastrous and impeachable.
