Only because the process of impeachment is riddled with so many loopholes that I think it would be a waste of time. I want to see a mob of citizens drag his ass to an actual courthouse, throw his bony ass to the floor, and start an honest to god criminal trial with honest to god penalties. If we leave it to impeachment all we're going to get is a party-line split, giving the administration even more leeway to thumb its nose at the rule of law.
The time for polite politics has passed. It's time to dust off the pitchforks and light the torches.

4. So, your "other" is out-and-our revolution? |
|
You really think enough American citizens are ready to get up from in front of their televisions, and take to the streets?
I have to think about that one. I'm not sure I share your optimism.

6. We're already talking about wishful thinking, so why not? |

Even starting the process of impeachment is more work than any of our reps want to engage in. Assuming it does begin, it hits a brick wall because, not just the party divide, but because we know - We have seen! - Bush will say "Don't want to, don't have to" and our elected officials will shuffle their feet and let him have his way.
It's infuriating to see our congresscritters behave so impotently. How many babies does a president have to eat before it gets a lift of the eyebrow?

8. Censure now. Impeachment would be impossible without Republican support, like with Nixon. |

10. Hagel would probably vote for impeachment before Nelson would. |
|
Though, Hagel has an annoying tendency to say one thing loudly in public and vote the opposite way when the time comes.
