RE: Michael Moore subpoena... I think Michael should take a page
outta GW Bush's play book and claim executive Privilege and not even bother to show up for trial date on his subpoena. I wonder how that would go over? In fact at this point I think that all laws should be stricken from the books until this Administration starts to obey them.

1. Yup, claim Executive Privilege -- and send the republicon INQUISITORS a box of diapers

Apparently the one thing republicon Homelanders understand -- and applaud -- is diaper sex.

Give them what they really want.

2. I'm not quite ready to ask Mr. Moore to go to prison for me. I think he does enough already
He should appear and cooperate. They have no case against him and this is purely political. By appearing and answering questions with the guidance of his lawyers he can make this out to be the witch hunt that it so clearly is. Don't give them a valid excuse to arrest him.

That's not to say that when he appears he shouldn't make a statement to the effect of "I am appearing today as the law requires under a subpoena. I do not believe that anyone is above the law and I believe that when a subpoena is issued that the subject of that subpoena must appear. To not appear is a flagrant disregard of the rule of law no matter who the subject happens to be."

4. Agreed. His compliance with a subpoena will contrast with the Bushies. They lose again.
They are such idiots. Dangerous, granted, but idiots. Michael Moore is about to play them like a fiddle.

5. Agreed. His appearance will only give his argument

about healthcare more attention as well as be an embarrassment to BushCo.

They should have done better to not give Moore additional press coverage from a purely political standpoint.

Either way Michael wins.

3. I didn't really mean that seriously, but my point was I wonder how
they would react to someone doing what they think they can get away with doing? That would not go over well at all, and yet they seem to think it's ok when they ignore laws with impunity.
