Why should I support the nominee,
if my guy does not get a fair airing of his views?

1. because it's better then alternative.
Any Democrat is preferable to any republican and the next president will be either a Democrat or a Republican. If your guy can't get a fair airing of his views then he isn't presidential material.

Taking your ball and going home is not an appropriate response.

5. If your guy can't get a fair airing of his views then he isn't presidential material.
That is debatable.

4. Because even your guy would say all the Democrats are better than the Republicans.
And we can't afford another 4 years of Republicans.

7. That is a phony argument.
Because this is not really about a person.

It is about why we don't have universal health care and why we have NAFTA.

8. It's a fine argument
there are dozens of registered candidates. Only 8 of them get any media attention at all.

If you wanna give up your vote because your guy doesn't win, that's just childish.

Maybe your guy is running a crappy campaign.

10. Why are there 8 debating, when there is really only two or three
candidates?

So it is all a farce?

12. You have described a farce,
and I will be appeased when the Democratic Party has an honest discussion on health care, trade policy, Iraq, election reform and a myriad of other issues.

And until they do Reagans and Bushes will continue to win elections.

13. It's all theater. The game needs to change.
Which is what Gore is doing - more effectively outside the box - whether he announces or not.

until then...

14. The problem is that the Media is counting dollars, not votes.
All candidates should be given equal coverage and exposure before the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary separate the wheat from the chafe. This certainly is not happening.

15. Supreme Court
It sucks, I know, but no matter who our nominee is I vote for them in the hopes of saving the court.

16. You shouldn't - you should let the republicans win and live with their decisions
for the next 4 years.
