Is the enemy of my enemy my best friend?
I've heard people say they are supporting Hillary Clinton because the Right hates her so much. If your goal is to irritate the Right, go for it, but IMO irritating the Right is not a good reason to select a candidate.

1. True dat
It's like the 'voting for the lesser of two evils' thing. But it does bring to mind the question: What is the best reasoning for selecting a candidate?

5. That's not a "revelation", she was a "Goldwater Girl" or something. Old News.
She also worked on the Watergate investigation in the Early 70s. She also wore hippie glasses, had Joni Mitchell's haircut, and dated some bearded freaky guy.. I'm not sure, maybe he was one of the Allman Brothers!

Hey- I don't support her in the primary, either, but it's because of what she's done in the past 6 years- not because of what she did 43 years ago. :eyes:

3. The right hates ANYONE with a (D) after their name, anyone who thinks the pill should be legal,
anyone who realizes the war in Iraq is a fucking joke, anyone who understands that the Earth isn't flat and 6,000 years old, etc. etc.

In short, if you want to "piss off the right", vote for someone with a functioning brain. That's plenty to drive em bonkers.

4. The enemy of my enemy can be my *ally*.
I like the term "ally" because it is by nature a temporary, and/or contingent relationship.
