it's not that they have wives who have their own minds and lives, it's just the pure hypocrisy of the GOP. Something they would beat up a Dem for, is something they let slide in their own people.

Thompson's wife is an issue for sure, because she's actually trying to run her husband's campaign, which isn't official yet and already behind. It's a thorn for the people who are looking to be his campaign manager and closest advisors, as they want to make sure who is exactly in charge here, you know?
