Ralph Nader attends anti-war rally
Nader, Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson and The Nation Editor Katrina vanden Heuvel were among the speakers who delivered sharp criticism of the Bush administration, and called Juneau citizens to action to help end the occupation of Iraq.

Nader, who ran on the Green Party ticket in the 2000 and 2004 elections, said he has not made a decision about running again in the upcoming presidential election.

It's real nice of this guy to act like he doesn't approve of what is going on when he knows well that had he sat out in 2000, it never would have happened.

And yet he's thinking of running again! That is why I continue to hammer on Nader's presidential runs.

3. She participated in anti war marches during the....
VietNam War, so that statement is not true. How many current US Senators have attended antiwar rallies against the Iraq War?

2. Tell us again that is there no difference between Bu$h and Gore!
Tens of thousands of innocent deaths and an overheated planet say otherwise.

5. He should run. You think "competition" only works in economics?
We need a 3rd party to challenge the collusion that occurs all too much in a 2 party system.

6. He can't get on the ballot in 25 states. How's he going to win?
They've already blocked Nader from getting on the ballot once.
They'll do it again.

7. He doesn't have to win. He has to represent the voices or those who are
not being represented. The REAL progressives. Then the Democrats (or Republicans) will be pressured into taking one or more of the issues.

11. No, you have to represent yourself.
But that, of course, would require work. It's much easier to big someone up to hijack the election process and risk destroying 90% of what differentiates the Republicans and Democrats than to find out how to get what you want and actually take responsibility for getting it.

14. Represent yourself? You mean run for office? Not everyone can.
That is why it is called a representative democracy.

13. "I'm really sorry," sobbed Nader.
"How can I ever...how could I ever even ask you to forgive me. I'm a sad, old, chameleon-eyed fool. Now I'm going to go kill myself."
