How many countries did Bill Clinton strike?
Did he get the permission of their governments as well? Was Milosevic in favor of him bombing the crap out of Yugoslavia? How about the others?

Clinton supporters are only exposing their own hypocricy on this issue and nothing more.

2. Didn't he get a resolution against Milosevic?
He didn't get a resolution for the times he dropped the cruise missles on Afghanastan and Sudan. Those were pre-emptive strikes and Repubs derided him and said, No War for Monica and equating it to Wag the Dog.

It later came out that he WAS working on actionable intelligence.

16. Weren't all of these actions either under NATO or the UN? Do you not believe
in these multi-nation actions to attempt to restore peace or eliminate genocide?

4. Dropping a bomb on a country is not the same as invading it with troops.

8. It definately is
I read somewhere that he said that was his greatest regret. I'm hoping that admission was sincere.

You are right that it's happening again.

Germany was our enemy, Pakistan is not our enemy. We have enemies within Pakistan, who do not represent the Palistinian state, and Obama wants to kill the patient to cure the disease, via invading/bombing Pakistan.

13. Yes, but this is the Primary "LONG" Season and Clinton may be synonymous with the DLC
but he's not "The Democratic Party" all wrapped up in one big dawg package. He's made mistakes and we must own up to even our own party's mistakes in order to develop "as a party" in a healthy way.

18. No matter how much I disagree with HRC, and with Bush's war in Iraq, Bill was right about Kosovo.
There was genocide going un. Unlike with Iraq, there was a reason to get involved in Kosovo. His mistake is he *didn't* get involved in Rwanda.

19. Read Chomsky
Edited on Thu Aug-02-07 02:02 PM by irislake
Bill wasn't such and angel and I would think twice about voting for Hill ---- were I American and had I the vote.

But I don't have to worry about that. Only need to make sure "Steve" doesn't become PM again. And I wouldn't trust Michael Ignatief at all. He approved Iraqi invasion and even thought torture was acceptable. Too bad he came back to Canada but at least he didn't become Liberal leader ---- mainly because of his position on Iraq. He wrote big article for The New York Review of Books about how nice it is that America is an Empire --- cuz your foreign policy aims are so purely ethical and good for the world. He beat the drums for Cheney's war along with the NYT and CNN and all the corporate media. Tch!

Ooops got off subject. Read Chomsky's FAILED STATES.
