When Keith did the countdown tonight, one of the stories he mentioned (third story I think) was Obama's speech yesterday. He showed the clip in which Obama pointed out that we are currently fighting the war Osama wanted us to pursue. Keith commented that "Obama has a plan" about how to combat terrorism, unlike Bush who "doesn't have a clue".

Keith just mentioned the story again, showing a clip of Obama walking to the podium yesterday while commenting; "Countering terrorism and attacks for being soft, Obama shows that unlike Bush he has a plan"

Looks like it will be a good segment, and should put to rest the notion that Olbermann does negative stories about Obama. I am glad Olbermann is giving some props to Obama for a very good speech overall.

1. I saw that. Keith does gives props to the Dems.

He did for Hillary in her fight against the Pentagon.
Biden for calling out this administration on their lies about Iraq.
Big kudos to Leahy on the Gonzo hearings.
Russ for trying to censure.
And I'm sure I am missing alot.

9. I know I saw at least one thread claiming that Keith was a Hillary supporter

and had shown it. That's a bunch of nonsense. While Keith obviously is not impressed with what the Repugs have shown so far, he has not shown favoritism toward one Dem or another, but tried to report on all fairly.

I mean, come on. This is a guy who doesn't even vote, so that he won't be biased.
