I've been waiting my entire life for a President that would take nuclear war off the table
I sure don't want to wait much longer.
There is no room for nuclear war in the 21st century. Nukes are for terrorists, not for the civilized.
Peace and low stress.

1. My thoughts too - however, I don't think * and buddies are going to drop it
on the Middle east.

For one simple reason -- the OIL. All this fighting and death to make a commodity UNUSABLE? Err, even THEY are not that stupid.

5. There are a lot of steps between here and there.

You're not going to see a US president declaring sudden, complete unilateral disarmament.

The first steps in that direction will be slowly reducing America's nuclear arsenal, stopping adding to it, and encouraging other countries to follow suit.
