We no longer have a representative government |
|
what we have, are leaders that intentionally ignore the will of the people instead of acting as representatives of that will.
I could say a lot more, but I feel this is the heart of the problem. We have leaders more concerned about their own political livelihood than the job they were elected to do: act on behalf of their consituents.
The system is broken, and has been for a while, limping along. Last night it finally died.

And several other DU'ers have been very accurate in their descriptions of the traitorous Blue Dogs and DLCs.
What's wrong with American's? Why do we continue electing people who act against us?
