6. Honored by the SCLC? The same SCLC that did this:
SCLC plans to recognize Vick at weekend convention
The Associated Press

ATLANTA --The Southern Christian Leadership Conference is planning to recognize embattled Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick at its annual convention.

The five-day event began Friday in Atlanta. SCLC President Charles Steele said the group is still discussing how Vick will be acknowledged. More details were expected to be announced later Friday.

"We're in support of Michael as a human being," Steele said. "Right now, he's feeling discarded, ostracized by people who are rushing to judgment. It's our responsibility to save him."

Ya know, maybe they just should have sent Mr. Vick a Hallmark card to let them know they were thinking about him, but actually honoring someone with such a long and dubious past?

Whatever.
