We should get millions of protesters to surround the Capitol upon Congress' return...
and chant "Shame!" at them for the wiretap bill. Weakening the constitution pretty much proves hat these people have broken their oath to defend it.

Republicans pulled their little 'shame' stunt this week and other members of Congress quickly tried to backpedal. I wonder if we had a huge turnout that encountered Congress on their hometurf as a whole and spent a whole day (or more) chanting "Shame!" at them for this if they'd start to realize what they just did.

Because apparently these idiots are too far removed from reality to get it any other way.

Only fools that have no capacity to lead would give power to break the Constitution to the one official who is under the most fire for his dishonest and political hackery.

Shame on them indeed.

1. Let's see what the ACLU has planned
They probably are going to organize something. Their first lobbying effort in June was well thought out, although it didn't succeed.

As the wrongs continue, the crowds will grow.

4. PR
Face it.. the only thing that moves these people is negative PR. That creates the perception that they will lose their cushy jobs in the next election. That's what makes these people move.

6. that would require that millions actually give a damn
And I see no evidence of that. People don't pay attention, don't care, trust...whatever the reason, I see no evidence of any outrage among the general public.

7. I was hoping they'd have protesters camped out on their lawns
while they're on "vacation." They need to be reminded at every turn how they are enabling the dismantling of the Constitution. It's shameful.
